Job Summary

We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and hardworking Kitchen Staff member to join our busy Korean restaurant team. We provide both dine-in and catering services, so our kitchen can get very busy, especially during peak hours and catering orders.

The ideal candidate is outgoing and personable, has strong attention to detail, and is able to multitask while staying focused in a fast-paced environment. You should be comfortable working as part of a team, communicating with coworkers, and helping create a welcoming experience for our customers.

Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred. Korean or Asian cuisine experience is an asset, but not required.

Responsibilities

- Prepare ingredients and food items according to recipes and restaurant standards
- Cook and assemble menu items accurately and efficiently
- Prepare and organize food for both dine-in and catering orders
- Maintain food quality, portion control, and consistency
- Keep the kitchen, workstations, utensils, and equipment clean and organized
- Follow proper food handling, hygiene, and safety procedures
- Work efficiently during busy periods and high-volume catering orders




- Multitask and prioritize different tasks while maintaining accuracy
- Communicate clearly and work cooperatively with other team members
- Assist with general kitchen duties, including dishwashing, cleaning, and restocking
- Provide friendly and helpful service when interacting with customers or assisting with dine-in operations
- Perform other kitchen duties as required

Qualifications
- Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred
- Friendly, outgoing, and comfortable interacting with customers
- Strong attention to detail and ability to stay focused during busy periods
- Able to multitask and work efficiently in a rapid-paced environment
- Reliable, punctual, and responsible
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Able to follow instructions and recipes accurately
- Comfortable working during busy dine-in and catering periods
- Able to stand for extended periods and perform physical kitchen duties
- Evening and weekend availability is an asset
- Food Handler Certificate is an asset

Pay: $17.60-$18.00 per hour Expected hours: 15.0 – 30.0 per week
