Absinthe Bistro is a French neighbourhood bistro on Commercial Drive, and we’re looking for an energetic, enthusiastic, and motivated person to join our kitchen team.

You don't need years of experience — kitchen or restaurant experience is an asset, but we’re happy to train the right person. We’re looking for someone with a outstanding attitude, energy, reliability, and a willingness to learn.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Helping with daily food preparation
- Washing, cutting, peeling, and preparing ingredients
- Assisting our cooks during service
- Helping with plating and simple kitchen tasks
- Washing dishes and keeping the kitchen clean and organized
- Restocking ingredients and supplies
- Helping with opening and closing duties
- Following food safety and cleanliness standards
- Working together with the kitchen team to keep service running smoothly
The Person We’re Looking For

Schedule: Evening and weekend availability required
Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
