Brandt Industries Canada Ltd is currently seeking a Kitting Technician for our Regina, SK location.
The Kitting Technician is responsible for managing incoming components and preparing all materials required for production to support smooth shop flow. This role reviews schedules, gathers and stages components, and ensures jobs are delivered to each department on time. The technician communicates with Purchasing, Planning, and shop leadership to resolve part shortages and support continuous improvement.

What You Will Be Responsible For
- Manage & warehouse incoming components.
- Work in alignment with Purchasing and Planning personnel to develop, review and confirm information regarding various projects.
- Review the daily/weekly schedule and ensure all components are gathered, staged and ready for production prior to delivery to the shop.
- Ensure that all jobs are on time to all Departments when requested.
- Print picklists from BrandtLink.
- Responsible for sending requests for needed parts to purchasing/material planning and material processing.
- Responsible for following up with requests to ensure all needed parts are provided on time.
- Help reduce movement, handling and set ups through Lean initiatives and continuous improvement.
- Troubleshoot any obstacle impeding on-time delivery by evaluating the process and request adjustments.
- Communicate with Area Managers and/or Foreman to ensure everything is in alignment with their needs.
- Assist with Purchasing in returning unneeded components after the project is completed.
- Maintain orderliness in keeping with 5S principles.
- Other duties as assigned.
What We Look For
- Solid organizational and leadership skills.
- Minimum 1 year experience in forklift and tractor operating.
- Demonstrate the ability to work individually as well as part of a team.
- Procurement knowledge/understanding.
- Physically fit to manually handle all goods, steel and products as required.
- Capable of working under minimal supervision.
- Able to understand and carry out written and verbal instructions regarding departmental operations including material requisitions.
- Must have knowledge of steel dimensions and terminology.
