We are hiring a Concrete Formwork Labourer to join our crew at Starrett Ruppert Formwork inc. You will work on-site with carpenters and form setters building, setting, pouring, and stripping forms for foundations, walls, columns, slabs, and other concrete work.

This is hands-on outdoor construction work. You need to be reliable, safety-minded, and willing to work hard in all weather.

Duties

- Load, unload, carry, and stack form panels, lumber, hardware, rebar, and other materials
- Help assemble, brace, plumb, and align footing, wall, column, and slab formwork
- Assist with layout, shoring, scaffolding, ramps, and barricades
- Place and tie rebar as directed
- Help pour, vibrate, and place concrete
- Strip, clean, oil, and stack forms after the pour
- Keep the site organized and clean; remove debris
- Use hand tools and power tools (hammer, saws, drills, vibrators, etc.)
- Follow all site safety rules and take part in toolbox talks
- Other labour tasks as assigned by the foreman

Requirements

- Physically fit and able to lift 50 lbs / 23 kg regularly
- Comfortable working outdoors in heat, cold,



rain, and snow
- Comfortable working at heights and on uneven ground
- Reliable transportation to job sites
- Punctual, dependable, and a team player
- Own CSA-approved steel-toe boots and basic PPE (hard hat, vest, gloves, safety glasses)

Assets (nice to have, not required)

- Previous formwork, cribbing, or concrete labour experience
- CSTS-2020 (or CSTS-09)
- WHMIS 2015
- Fall protection / working at heights
- Standard First Aid
- Valid driver’s licence and clean abstract
- Basic tools: hammer, tape measure, tool belt, adjustable wrench
