$23.40/hour starting wage, no experience needed. Tools and equipment are provided by the company, you only need to bring your own steel toes and very basic hand tools (hammer, knife, snips, tape)
We are looking for 1-2 people with positive work ethic to join our very experienced crew. The bulk of our work is in roofing but we also do siding, soffit, fascia, eavestrough, and minor framing.
License and transportation are an asset, but not required. You can either find a way to the shop in Williamsburg every morning, or take your own transportation to wherever the job site is that day.
You will be expected to:
Climb ladders
Lift 50 pounds
Pile and throw debris into a dump trailer from either the roof or the ground
Bring installers tools or materials as needed
Organize the jobsite and work trailers
Assist in the setup of scaffolding
Protect the customers house and landscaping with plywood and tarps
Do a thorough cleaning of the customers property with magnets and rakes, as well as scooping out eavestroughing
If you can handle all this at a reasonable pace, you can expect to make $23.40-30/hour as a labourer before you learn to install. Installers can expect to make $25-40+/hour depending on depth of skillset and how fast they can install while still maintaining high quality.
