About the Role:

We are looking for a reliable, hardworking "workhorse" to join our crew for year-round outdoor work. This position is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced physical environment and doesn’t mind getting their hands dirty. From Spring to Fall, you will be the backbone of our grass maintenance routes. When the weather turns, this role transitions directly into our winter sidewalk snow removal operations, keeping you employed and earning all year.

Key Responsibilities

Spring/Summer/Fall (Grass Maintenance):

- Operate commercial lawn mowers (push, standon, walkers, and zero-turn).
- Perform precise string trimming (whipper-snipping) and power edging around walkways, garden beds, and obstacles.
- Use backpack blowers to clear clippings and debris from sidewalks and driveways.
- Assist with loading and unloading trailers, and securing equipment between properties.
- Perform basic daily maintenance on equipment (checking oil, cleaning decks, fueling).

Winter (Sidewalk Snow Removal):

- Note:



Winter hours are weather-dependent and require on-call availability, including early mornings, nights, and weekends during snow events.
- Clear snow from commercial and/or residential walkways using shovels, snow blowers, and Snowrators
- Apply salt, sand, or ice melt to sidewalks and entryways to ensure pedestrian safety.
- Chip away hard-packed ice during freezing rain or extreme cold events.
- Maintain open communication with dispatch/supervisors during storm operations.

Requirements & Qualifications:
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift 50+ lbs safely, walk several kilometers a day, and perform highly physical tasks in all weather conditions (extreme summer heat and freezing winter cold).
- Reliability: You show up on time, every time. Winter storms require prompt responses.
- Experience: Previous landscaping or snow removal experience is a strong asset, but we will train the right hardworking candidate.
- Driver’s License: A valid G-class license with a clean driving record is highly preferred (to drive company trucks/salters if needed).
- Attitude: Solid work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to work efficiently within a crew.

Pay: $18.50-$24.00 per hour
