We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Laser Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining laser cutting equipment to produce precise metal and material components according to detailed specifications. Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC laser cutting machine, ensuring accurate calibration and alignment for each job.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to determine cutting parameters.
- Perform quality inspections using calipers, measurement tools, and visual checks to verify dimensions and surface finishes meet specifications.
- Handle material loading and unloading with cranes or forklifts safely and efficiently.
- Follow safety protocols diligently, including proper use of hand tools, personal protective equipment (PPE), and adherence to manufacturing safety standards.
Skills
- Proficiency in operating CNC laser cutting systems
- Strong understanding of blueprint reading, basic math skills for measurements, and mechanical principles.
- Ability to use hand tools accurately for adjustments or minor repairs.
- Knowledge of quality inspection methods to ensure parts meet strict tolerances.
- Experience with forklift operation or crane handling for material movement is desirable.
