Lead Systems Engineer - Battery Energy Storage Systems

The role

We're looking for a Lead Systems Engineer to own the architecture and technical backbone of our BESS platform — bridging electrical, mechanical, software, battery, and controls into one cohesive product. You'll translate customer needs into certifiable requirements, own traceability from spec through validation, and lead the multidisciplinary problem-solving that makes complex hardware actually ship.

You'll be a strong fit if you have:

- 6+ years in systems engineering, systems integration,



or multidisciplinary product development
- A track record architecting and integrating complex electrical/software/hardware products from concept to production
- Startup or high-growth experience — comfortable owning ambiguity and moving fast
- Strong grasp of embedded systems, hardware/software interfaces, and system-level V&V;
- Bonus: lithium-ion battery experience, or familiarity with UL1973/UL9540/UL9540A
