Duties

- Assist customers in selecting frames, lenses, and accessories that suit their style, preferences, and prescriptions
- Measure and fit eyewear accurately, ensuring optimal comfort and functionality
- Manage laboratory processes including lens ordering, adjustments, repairs, and quality checks
- Educate customers on proper eyewear care, lens options, and insurance benefits
- Maintain detailed records of patient prescriptions, sales transactions, and inventory levels
- Stay current with the latest optical trends, products, and technological advancements to provide expert guidance
Skills
- Strong understanding of medical terminology related to eye health and vision care
- Laboratory experience with lens fitting, edging, and adjustments to ensure precise results
- Proven optical experience with knowledge of various lens types, coatings, and frame styles
