We are seeking a skilled and motivated Licensed Mechanic or a dedicated 5th year Senior Apprentice to join our dynamic automotive service team. Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on various vehicle systems using schematics and technical manuals
- Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, brake inspections, tire rotations, and fluid replacements
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques to complete repairs efficiently and accurately
- Read and interpret schematics and technical diagrams to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues
- Assist with vehicle inspections, repairs involving heavy lifting, and component replacements in accordance with safety standards
- Maintain detailed service records and documentation of all work performed
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process
Requirements
- Valid license as a professional mechanic or at least 5 years of experience as a senior apprentice in automotive repair
- Proven dealership experience or similar automotive service background preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge across various vehicle makes and models
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and schematics reading
- Experience with automotive repair, assembly, and general maintenance procedures
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly
- Knowledge of safety standards related to vehicle repair environments and proper use of maintenance equipment
- Must have own tools
