Duties:
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans -Responsible for witnessing ingestions and dosing medications in a care facility
- Participate in discharge planning activities, ensuring patients have appropriate follow-up care arrangements
- Familiarity with medical coding systems for accurate documentation and billing purposes - Working with OAT's / Mental health & Addiction
Schedule:
- Shifts are 07:00-13:00 or 09:00-15:00 (overall availability 06:00-20:00 for sick calls)
- Must have Weekend availability (Specifically Friday, Saturday, Sundays and Tuesdays)
Experience:
- Must be a licensed practical nurse (LPN) in Alberta
- Previous 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting preferred
- Familiarity with health coaching principles and strategies
