Frankie's Organic, a manufacturer of extruded snacks, is looking for a Logistics Coordinator to join our Logistics and Supply Chain team.
The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for overseeing daily outbound logistics by scheduling and booking shipments, preparing orders for dispatch, and managing warehouse inventory space. This role ensures timely fulfillment of customer orders while maintaining organized and efficient use of warehouse resources.
Key Responsibilities:
Shipping & Logistics Coordination:
- Schedule and book all outbound shipments with third-party carriers, freight companies, or internal fleet.
- Generate shipping documentation, including packing slips, bills of lading, and shipping labels.
- Monitor carrier performance and ensure on-time pickup and delivery of goods.
- Communicate shipment details to internal teams and external customers as needed.
- Work closely with receiving and inventory control staff to maintain stock accuracy.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in a distribution, warehouse, or logistics coordination role.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), shipping software, and ERP platforms.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling orders and inventory.
- Effective communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
- Forklift certification is a plus (or willingness to become certified).
