Job Summary

Join our team in the role of Log Prep, where you will be part of the productive processing and preparation of logs used in the construction of a variety of log structures. This active position requires attention to detail, physical fitness, and a positive attitude. You will work outdoors, utilizing various tools and equipment to ensure smooth operations while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Duties

- Operate hand tools, power tools, and possibly heavy machinery safely to peel logs and prepare timber for further processing
- Use basic mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues and perform routine maintenance on tools and machinery
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals efficiently

Requirements

- Prior construction experience or familiarity with manual labor tasks
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and basic maintenance equipment confidently




- Experience with outdoor work environments
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and perform physically demanding tasks safely
- Willingness to learn new skills and an interest in wood
