Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Maintenance Supervisor to lead our maintenance team in ensuring the optimal operation of manufacturing facilities. This role involves overseeing all aspects of industrial maintenance, including mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems, to maintain a safe, efficient, and reliable production environment.
The Maintenance
Supervisor will coordinate maintenance activities, manage projects, and implement preventive maintenance strategies to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan. Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the maintenance team to execute daily maintenance tasks efficiently and safely.
- Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs utilizing CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) tools.
- Oversee troubleshooting, repair, and installation of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, low voltage systems, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
- Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and electrical diagrams to diagnose issues accurately.
- Manage maintenance projects from planning through execution, ensuring timely completion within scope and budget.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and promote a culture of safety awareness among team members.
- Coordinate with production departments to schedule maintenance activities that minimize production disruptions.
Experience
- Proven management or supervisory experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Strong background in industrial maintenance with hands-on experience in mechanical, electrical, HVAC systems, and low voltage wiring.
- Familiarity with project management principles for planning and executing maintenance projects effectively.
- Experience working with CMMS software for work order management and asset tracking.
- Knowledge of schematics, wiring diagrams, PLC programming basics, and troubleshooting industrial control systems.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and foster a cooperative work environment.
- Fluency in English is required for effective communication across teams and documentation.
