About Us:

Saskatoon Pallet is a leading provider of new pallets, crates, core boxes and industrial wood products. We take pride in our commitment to quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. We’re looking for a Manager to lead daily operations, sales, drive efficiency, and ensure our team produces top-quality pallets on time and within budget.

Responsibilities:

- Oversee day-to-day operations of the pallet shop, including production, repair, and recycling.
- Supervise and schedule shop employees; manage staffing levels to meet production goals.
- Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work workplace.
- Ensure product quality and compliance with company and customer specifications.
- Track production metrics, materials usage, and inventory.
- Handle logistics and sales
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to increase productivity and reduce waste.
- Train and mentor employees on equipment use, safety procedures, and quality standards.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities, report maintenance needs.

Qualifications:

- Experience in pallet manufacturing, wood products,



or a similar production environment is preferred, but not required.
- Prior supervisory or management experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of pallet construction, repair processes, and equipment (saws, nailers, stackers, etc.) is preferred, but not required.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Commitment to workplace safety and quality control.
- Ability to read and interpret production schedules and work orders.
- Basic computer skills (MS Office, production software, etc.).
- Forklift certification a plus.
