POSITION OVERVIEW
We’re currently searching for a Manufacturing Sales & Marketing Manager to join our team. This position is primarily accountable for revenue growth, gross margin, bookings, pipeline development, and new customer acquisition for IMS manufactured products across North America. The manager will lead consultative sales of technical, manufactured solutions while directing the marketing activities required to support those sales.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsibility for defined targets covering bookings, revenue, gross margin, qualified pipeline, conversion rates, and forecast accuracy.
- Identifying, pursuing, and closing new business with OEMs, distributors, and industrial end-users for our manufactured products
- Responsible for the technical sales cycle: prospecting, needs analysis, product configuration, quotation, negotiation, and closing.
- Managing and mentoring a small team of sales and marketing staff, setting targets and tracking performance
- Building and maintaining relationships with key customers, such as engineering, operations, procurement, fleet, and executive decision-makers, including in office visits and technical consultations at manufacturing facilities
- Responsible for translating customer operating requirements into product specifications with engineering and production.
- Negotiating contracts, pricing, and terms in line with company margin goals
- Forecasting sales volumes and tracking performance against KPIs using the company’s ERP/CRM tools
- Establish sales forecasts that support production planning, procurement, capacity management, and delivery commitments.
- Overseeing trade show participation, industry publications, and sales collateral (spec sheets,
brochures, case studies) for manufactured product lines
- Managing website content and digital campaigns aimed at procurement and engineering decision-makers
- Analyzing market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to inform product positioning and pricing
- Working closely with production and engineering teams to ensure product configuration, quotation feasibility, production planning, and structured customer and market feedback that informs product development, pricing, and commercialization.
- Identifying customer incentives and market-development programs that help generate product sales.
- Preparing regular reports on sales performance, pipeline health, and marketing ROI for senior leadership
KNOWLEDGE & SKILL REQUIREMENTS EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Demonstrated success selling to engineering, operations, procurement, fleet, or executive decision-makers, with experience preparing technical proposals, quotations, pricing models, and commercial contracts.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Excellent fluency in English – both technical and business writing and speaking
SYSTEMS & SKILLS
- Prior people-management or team-lead experience, with the ability to coach and motivate a sales team
- Extensive experience with business development, technical product marketing, and customer engagement in a manufacturing or industrial setting
- Demonstrated success selling to engineering, operations, procurement, fleet, or executive decision-makers, with experience preparing technical proposals, quotations, pricing models, and commercial contracts.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, lead times, and basic supply chain concepts
- Proficiency with CRM/ERP software for sales tracking, quoting, and reporting
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks to meet internal and external deadlines
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
LOCATION Innoversa has office space in Concord, Ontario. We offer hybrid employment that supports a blend of in-office and remote work (minimum 3 days in office). With this role, there will be regular travel within North America for customer visits, business meetings, and attending exhibition events and product demonstrations.
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Working conditions are normal for a professional office environment.
- Site visits to customer or partner manufacturing facilities are included in this role; when on a shop floor or in a lab environment, protective personal equipment or additional safety training may be required.
- The role may require occasional walking of production floors or trade show environments for extended periods.
- The role requires travel, local and regional trips, for customer visits, trade shows, and business development several times per month.

Pay: $120,000.00-$150,000.00 per year
