Activa is looking for a Marketing Manager to lead marketing initiatives that support our homebuilding and rental communities across Waterloo Region. This is an prospect to lead a talented team, shape campaigns, strengthen our brand, and make a direct impact on business growth.

Occasional evening and weekend work may be required to support community launches, events, and other promotional activities.

Responsibilities:

- Lead and support a small marketing team, providing coaching, direction, and day-to-day guidance.
- Develop and execute marketing strategies and campaigns for new home communities, rental properties, launches, and events.
- Manage digital marketing activities, including websites, social media, email marketing, online advertising, and lead generation.
- Ensure consistent branding and messaging across all customer-facing materials and channels.
- Review marketing performance and use data to improve campaign results and return on investment.
- Work closely with sales, rental, and leadership teams to support business goals.
- Manage marketing budgets and relationships with external agencies, vendors, and partners.

Requirements:

- Post-secondary education in Marketing, Business, Communications, Advertising, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of progressive marketing experience,



including developing and executing marketing strategies and managing budgets.
- Proven people leadership experience, including coaching, mentoring, performance management, and developing team members.
- Strong communication, organization, and project management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with tools such as Salesforce, Pardot, Google Ads, Meta Ads, Adobe Creative Cloud, and social media platforms.
- Experience in residential construction, real estate, property management, or rental housing is an asset.
