Ensure accuracy of inventory in the warehouse by completing counts daily and correcting variance issues.
Responsibility
- Support and maintain department lean initiatives as set out in LPS system requirements.
- Maintain department 5S requirements.
- Count parts that are assigned from the materials Coordinator to ensure accuracy of inventory
- Complete assigned counts and required documentation
- E-mail results to Materials Coordinator and POC for approval
- Trouble shoot part shortages and resolve inventory discrepancies
- Organize parts in the warehouse to ensure labels are easy to ready and shelves are organized
- Perform other tasks/duties as assigned.
Academic/Educational Requirements
- Requires a high school diploma or equivalent
Required Skills/Experience
- Minimum one year of experience, preferably in a warehouse or materials department
- Demonstrated organizational skills.
- Basic math skills required
- Ability to communicate well in both oral and written form.
- Familiar with a variety of the field’s concepts, practice, and procedures.
- Ability to use various computer applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and ManuX.
- Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
