Small family-owned automotive shop looking for a licensed Mechanic/Automotive Service Technician.
- Wages will depend on experience!
Duties
- Perform inspections and diagnostics to identify vehicle issues accurately
- Conduct repairs and maintenance on various vehicle systems including engines, brakes, suspension, and electrical components
- Follow safety protocols during heavy lifting, use of power tools, and welding tasks to maintain a safe work environment
Requirements
- Mechanic experience with dealership or automotive repair shop background preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge across various vehicle systems and components
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a busy workshop workplace
- Experience with automotive maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake replacements, tire rotations, etc.
- Knowledge of automotive repair standards and safety procedures
- Excellent communication skills
Pay: $25.00-$40.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
