Role Description The Media Coordinator is a full-time hybrid role based in Toronto, ON, with flexibility for some work-from-home days. This role supports the planning, execution, and optimization of media campaigns across digital, social, and traditional channels.
Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting with media plan development, compiling and organizing research and audience insights, preparing reports, tracking campaign performance, and coordinating with internal teams and external partners.
The Media
Coordinator will maintain accurate documentation, manage timelines and deliverables, help with trafficking and quality assurance of media assets, and ensure campaigns follow client guidelines and best practices. This role collaborates closely with media planners, strategists, and account teams to deliver effective, data-informed media solutions.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in Media Planning and Media Strategy to support the development and execution of integrated media campaigns.
- Candidates should possess solid Communication skills to coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and clients and to present explicit reports and updates.
- Candidates should possess Research skills to analyze audiences, market trends,
and channel performance for data-driven recommendations.
- Candidates should possess Marketing skills to understand brand objectives, target markets, and the broader advertising ecosystem.
- Relevant qualifications include post-secondary education in marketing, advertising, communications, or a related field.
- Proficiency with media and analytics tools (e.g., ad servers, social platforms, spreadsheets, and presentation software) is beneficial.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment are important.
- Experience or internship background in media, advertising, or digital marketing is an asset.
