YouthBar Medical Aesthetics is a nurse-led clinic focused on natural results and long-term skin health. We are seeking a skilled and client-focused Medical Aesthetician/Aesthetician to join our growing team. The ideal client will provide exceptional guest services, perform a variety of skincare treatments and promote our product lines and services.
This role is ideal for someone passionate about advanced skincare, personalized treatment planning, and working in a collaborative clinical environment.
Responsibilities
Perform advanced aesthetic treatments including but not limited to:
- Microneedling Protocols
- Chemical peels
- Medical-grade facials
- Dermaplaning
- Laser treatments
- Conduct thorough client consultations and develop customized treatment plans
- Educate clients on homecare and skincare protocols
- Maintain accurate and compliant client charting and photo documentation
- Uphold strict sanitation and safety standards
- Support retail product recommendations
- Collaborate with nurse injectors on treatment planning
- Participate in ongoing training and team meetings
Qualifications
- Licensed Aesthetician (Nova Scotia certification required)
- 1–2+ years experience in medical aesthetics preferred
- Experience with medical-grade skincare lines (asset)
- Laser experience (asset)
- Strong consultation and communication skills
- Comfortable with EMR systems (Jane, Zenoti, etc.)
- Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed
