MedGar Family & Walk in Clinic is a new, modern medical clinic opening in Calgary, Alberta, and we are looking for an experienced and motivated Medical Director to join our team.

POSITION

Medical Director – Family & Walk-In Clinic

Location: 2210 2 St SW #106, Calgary, AB T2S 3C3

Clinic Opening: November 20, 2026

Part-Time / Flexible Arrangement

Compensation: Competitive and negotiable

ROLE

The Medical Director will work collaboratively with the clinic leadership team and physicians to support high-quality, safe, patient-centred medical care and help establish clinical standards and processes for the current clinic.

Responsibilities may include

- Providing clinical leadership and guidance
- Supporting physicians and clinical staff
- Promoting quality and patient safety
- Supporting development and review of clinical policies and procedures
- Supporting appropriate clinical documentation and practice standards
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives
- Collaborating with clinic management on clinical operations
- Helping maintain a professional and collaborative clinical workplace
- Supporting compliance with applicable Alberta healthcare and professional standardsQUALIFICATIONS

The successful candidate should:



✔ Hold a valid medical licence to practise in Alberta

✔ Be registered and in good standing with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta (CPSA)

✔ Have experience in Family Medicine / General Practice

✔ Have strong clinical and communication skills

✔ Demonstrate leadership and collaborative abilities

✔ Be committed to patient-centred care and quality improvement
