Job Title: Experienced Metal Roofing Installer

Location: Ottawa, ON and surrounding areas

Pay: Starting at $35 per hour, with higher rates available based on experience and skills.

Reliable Roofing is looking for an experienced metal roofing installer who takes pride in quality work. We need someone who can measure, cut, fit, and install residential metal roofing, trim, and flashing with accuracy and attention to detail.

We’re looking for experience with metal shingles, exposed fastener panels, snap-lock hidden fastener systems, standing seam, and other residential metal roofing systems.

Responsibilities

- Install metal roofing, trim, and flashing to manufacturer specifications.
- Read drawings and take accurate measurements.
- Measure, cut, bend, and fit metal components.
- Use hand and power tools safely.
- Complete clean, professional installations.
- Help guide crew members on proper metal installation techniques.
- Work with the crew to keep jobs organized and on schedule.
- Follow job-site safety procedures, including fall protection.

What we’re looking for

- Previous experience installing residential metal roofing.
- Ability to complete installations independently.
- Strong understanding of flashing, fastening, and weatherproofing.
- Strong attention to detail and reliable attendance.
- Ability to work outdoors and at heights.




- Ability to handle the physical demands of installation work.
- Reliable transportation to job sites.
- Clear communication and the ability to work well with a crew.
- Valid Working at Heights certification is required.
