Role Description The Mover role is a full-time, on-site position based in Toronto, ON. Movers are responsible for safely loading, transporting, and unloading residential and commercial items, ensuring that customer property is handled with care and respect. Daily tasks include packing and wrapping furniture and belongings, disassembling and reassembling basic household items, and organizing cargo in trucks for secure transport.

Movers also assist with clean-out services, follow established safety procedures, and use company tools and equipment properly.



The role involves direct interaction with customers, providing professional service, following job instructions and schedules, and collaborating with team members and supervisors to complete moves efficiently and on time.

Qualifications

- Strong physical fitness and stamina, with the ability to lift, carry, and move heavy items safely throughout the workday.
- Basic skills in packing, wrapping, loading, and unloading furniture and household goods, including careful handling of fragile items.
- Good communication and customer service skills, with the ability to interact respectfully with clients and work cooperatively in a team environment.
- Reliability, punctuality, and attention to detail, with the ability to follow instructions, adhere to schedules, and maintain safety standards.
- Comfort using mobile devices or simple digital tools to view job details, routes, and updates as part of technology-enabled operations.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record are an asset; experience operating moving trucks or commercial vehicles is beneficial.

- Previous experience in moving, warehousing, delivery, or general labor is preferred but not required; on-the-job training may be provided.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or evenings when needed, and to adapt to different job sites and customer requirements.
