Key Responsibilities:

- Clean and sanitize lodges, restrooms, and common areas to WorkSafeBC standards.
- Maintain a high level of cleanliness in all guest and staff areas—because nobody likes a messy mountain!
- Monitor and maintain washrooms and outhouses to ensure they’re fresh, stocked, and sparkling.
- Ensure buildings are safe and accessible during operating hours.
- Keep entryways clear of snow and ice—bonus points if you do it with a smile!
- Respond to emergency clean-ups quickly and efficiently.
- Work with Security to secure or unsecure doors as required.
- Clean and maintain custodial equipment—because a happy mop makes a happy mountain.
- Keep cleaning supplies stocked and organized.
- Report any issues or maintenance needs to your Lead Hand, Supervisor, or Security.

Qualifications:

- Grade 12 education or equivalent.




- Physically fit and ready for long shifts and heavy work.
- WHMIS training.
- Class 5 driver’s license.
- Ability to follow instructions and adhere to safety rules and regulations.
- First Aid certification and previous custodial or janitorial experience in hospitality are considered an asset.

Special Working Conditions:
- You’ll be shoveling snow during heavy snowfall—think of it as your alpine cardio!
- Assisting in parking lots to help guests find their way and keep things flowing smoothly.
- Shifts may include evenings, weekends, and holidays—because the mountain magic never stops!
