Duties
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history, lifestyle, and nutritional habits
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that incorporate natural therapies, nutritional counseling, and lifestyle modifications
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care
- Educate patients on health maintenance, preventive strategies, and the benefits of naturopathic medicine
- Manage acute and chronic conditions with a focus on pediatrics, ensuring safe and effective treatment approaches
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with regulatory standards
- Stay current with the latest research in naturopathy, medical terminology, and integrative health practices
Requirements
- Valid licensure or certification as a Naturopathic Doctor in the respective jurisdiction
- Strong knowledge of pediatrics and pediatric health considerations
- Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach to diverse patient needs
- Proficiency in medical terminology to accurately document and communicate clinical information
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Prior experience in naturopathic medicine or integrative health settings is preferred
- Commitment to ongoing career development and staying informed about advancements in natural medicine
