What You’ll Do

- Install, service, inspect, and troubleshoot residential and commercial propane and natural gas systems - Apply advanced technical expertise to:
- Propane and natural gas appliances - Propane tanks and cylinders - Dispenser inspections and cylinder re-qualification - Perform planned and preventative maintenance and scheduled service for residential and commercial customers - Safely operate crane trucks and other service vehicles to complete tank installations, relocations, and removals - Maintain, request, and stock service truck inventory to ensure required tools, equipment, parts, and materials are available daily - Accurately complete service documentation and collect customer signatures, stamps, and deposits when required using OBTC technology - Apply lock-out procedures on unsafe or non-compliant customer installations - Conduct and document pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, site inspections, and visual tank inspections - Ensure strict compliance with CSA B149 code, regulatory requirements, and company safety standards - Maintain the highest standards of safety, quality workmanship, and professionalism - Work closely with the Service Coordinator for daily routing and scheduling; promptly report service, customer, safety, or scheduling issues - Collaborate with the Market Manager or Field Operations Manager regarding successes, challenges, and overtime approvals - Submit hours worked accurately and on time (bi-weekly)



- Deliver exceptional customer service and positively represent the company and its products - Identify and support sales opportunities by providing product information, brochures, pricing basics, and contact details - Provide guidance and on-the-job training to Service Technician I (Apprentice) as required What You Bring Required Qualifications - Provincial gas fitting certificates with records of training (G2 minimum) - Minimum 2-5 years of relevant industry experience - Advanced technical knowledge of propane and natural gas appliances, equipment, and plant operations - Strong knowledge of CSA B149 code - Valid driver’s license with minimum 3 years of commercial driving experience and a clean driver’s abstract - WHMIS and TDG certification - Physically able to lift heavy objects on a regular basis - Good customer service and interpersonal skills - Robust verbal and written communication skills - Comfortable using computers and on-board truck computer systems Assets (Preferred) - HVAC certification and related qualifications Salary: $30 to $34 hourly (based on skills, experience, qualifications, and geography).
