Become part of the healthcare team at Biggar & District Health Centre as a Nurse Practitioner focused on community and patient care. This full time role promotes advanced nursing practices within a supportive environment.

As a key member of the Primary Care department, you will utilize your advanced nursing education to assess and treat patients facing acute and chronic health issues. Your responsibilities will also extend to community engagement and health education initiatives that address local needs. You will play a vital role in fostering collaborative relationships with other healthcare professionals to enhance community health outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:



• Conduct detailed patient assessments for diagnosis • Prescribe medications and manage treatment plans • Engage in health promotion and disease prevention efforts • Assess community health needs and design relevant programs • Support inter-professional teamwork for enhanced patient care

Requirements: • Master of Nursing - Nurse Practitioner (MN-NP) • Licensed as an RN(NP) • Valid Class 5 driver’s license • Basic Cardiac Life Support Level C Certificate (BCLS) • Advanced organizational and research skills
