Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Oil Burner Mechanic to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting oil burner systems and related mechanical equipment. Your expertise will ensure the efficient operation of heating systems and contribute to the safety and comfort of our clients’ facilities.

Duties
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on oil burner systems to ensure optimal performance
- Troubleshoot and repair oil burners, boilers, and associated mechanical components using schematics and technical manuals
- Conduct welding and plumbing tasks as needed for system repairs or upgrades
- Assist with installation and commissioning of new heating equipment and systems
- Follow safety protocols strictly during all maintenance activities to prevent accidents or hazards
- Maintain detailed service records, including inspection reports and repair logs
- Support HVAC system troubleshooting and appliance repair when required to ensure overall system efficiency
Experience
- Proven mechanic experience with a focus on heating systems, boilers, or similar mechanical equipment
- Strong knowledge of plumbing, welding, schematics, and HVAC systems
- Experience working with boiler systems and appliance repair is highly desirable
- Construction experience or background in mechanical maintenance is advantageous
- Ability to read technical diagrams and schematics accurately
- Prior experience in a maintenance or mechanical repair role within industrial or commercial settings is preferred
