About Daryl May & Associates
Daryl May & Associates is a specialized Managed IT Services Provider focused on the hospitality industry since 2005.
Hotels operate 24/7, and when technology fails, the impact can be immediate—from front desk operations and payment processing to Wi-Fi, reservations, staff productivity, and the guest experience.
Our role is to keep hotel technology stable, secure, and operating seamlessly in the background so hotel teams can focus on delivering exceptional guest experiences.
As we continue to grow, we are expanding our regional support model and are looking for an experienced Level 3 IT Technician who is equally comfortable working hands-on at hotel properties, travelling throughout Ontario, and providing professional remote technical support.
About the Role
This is a hybrid technical position consisting of approximately 70% on-site work and 30% remote IT support.
You will support hotel properties throughout Ontario, travelling on-site for technical issues, installations, maintenance, infrastructure work, and projects requiring physical intervention.
This role involves significant travel throughout Ontario. Technicians should be comfortable spending substantial time on the road, with site assignments sometimes requiring 1–3 day overnight stays and, depending on the project, location, or technical requirements, occasional extended stays at hotel properties. Travel is a regular and essential part of this position, not an occasional requirement.
When working remotely, you will be an active member of our technical support team—responding to support tickets, answering customer calls, troubleshooting issues remotely and over the phone, assisting hotel staff, documenting work, and escalating issues when required.
This is not a traditional field technician role, and remote days are not simply administrative days. Your on-site time is active, hands-on technical work at hotel properties, while your remote time is active Level 3 technical support time.
You should be comfortable moving between diagnosing a server, network, or infrastructure issue at a hotel property and remotely supporting users, systems, and technical tickets.
What You'll Do
In office Hotel IT Support – Approximately 70%
- Travel throughout Ontario to support assigned hotel properties
- Perform scheduled and emergency visits to hotel properties
- Complete multi-day assignments and overnight stays when required

- Perform physical diagnostics and hardware component replacements
- Assist with hotel openings, renovations, technology upgrades, migrations, and refreshes
- Support Wi-Fi deployments, adjustments, and troubleshooting
- Assist with structured cabling, patching, labeling, and physical connectivity troubleshooting
- Coordinate with vendors and internal technical teams while on-site
- Complete assigned project and maintenance work according to established standards
- Clearly document time entries, work performed, findings, and next steps
