Position Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently, swiftly and efficiently, providing excellent customer service and contributing to the overall success of our store.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service: Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner. Prepare patients for eye examinations. Provide information about products and services, assist with selections, and process transactions.

Sales: Actively promote products and services to increase sales. Meet and exceed sales targets.

Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records, order products as needed, and ensure proper storage and organization of merchandise.

Optical Equipment: Operate optical equipment, including a pupilometer, visioffice, lens meters and various eye measurement tools to assist with eye examinations and adjustments.

Computer Work: Utilize computer systems for inventory management, ordering products, optical wizards, sales transactions and EHR systems.

Math Skills: Calculating lens prescriptions,



decentration calculations and understanding the mathematics of lenses.

Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean and maintain the complete store environment, including equipment and fixtures.

Organization: Ensure that the store is well-organized and properly stocked at all times.

Qualifications

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as a team.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in computer systems.
- Previous experience in retail, customer service or healthcare is preferred.
- Knowledge of optical terminology and procedures is a great plus.
- Endlessly staying adaptable and relevant by continuously acquiring recent skills and knowledge.
