In this role, you'll be responsible for applying paint, coatings, and finishes to a variety of surfaces, ensuring quality craftsmanship and durability. Your mechanical knowledge, attention to detail, and proficiency with hand tools and power tools will be essential in transforming spaces and components with precision.

Responsibilities

- Prepare surfaces meticulously by cleaning, sanding, masking, and applying primers to ensure optimal paint adhesion.
- Apply paints, stains, varnishes, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, spray equipment, and power tools with accuracy and consistency.
- Operate heavy machinery such as cranes and forklifts safely to access elevated or hard-to-reach areas.
- Follow lean manufacturing principles to optimize workflow efficiency while maintaining safety standards.
- Conduct inspections of finished surfaces for quality assurance, ensuring smoothness, proper coverage, and adherence to specifications.




- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools, disposing of waste properly, and adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Skills

- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and spray equipment used in painting and finishing processes.
- Experience with commercial or residential environments, where precision finishing is required.
- Mixing paints, or adjusting equipment settings.
- Streamline processes while maintaining high quality standards.
- Familiarity with assembly techniques related to surface preparation or component finishing.
- Solid understanding of safety procedures related to the use of power tools, welding equipment, cranes, and forklifts.

Pay: $25.00-$32.00 per hour
