TITLE: ClinicalResearch Nurse

SERVICE: Radiation Oncology Clinical Research Unit

POSITION TYPE: Part-Time (4 hours per week), on-site

WORKING HOURS: Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday (8:00 am to 12:00 pm, flexible)

START DATE: January 5, 2027

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Working under the direction of the Principal Investigator (PI), the clinical research nurse is responsible for supporting the successful conduct of clinical research studies in the radiation-oncology department by performing nursing tasks within scope of practice. The focus of the clinical research involves prostate cancer.

MAIN TASKS:

- Perform nursing-related study activities per study protocol. Including: perform sample collection

(blood, urine, etc..), obtain vital signs, perform electro-cardiogram (ECG) readings, and related tasks such as processing and shipment of samples.
- Perform delegated nursing tasks by PI (ECOG assessment, assessing AEs, participant medical history

etc.).
- Accurate and timely electronic and physical documentation of study-related activities performed.




- Maintain effective and ongoing communication with sponsor, research participants and PI during the

course of the study.
- Conduct other related tasks as assigned by supervisor.

This is a 1-year contract to fill a maternity leave position Salary: Competitive (commensurate with experience and qualifications)

REQUIREMENTS:

- Bilingual: English & French
- Nursing Diploma or bachelor’s degree in nursing
- Able to work legally in Canada (Canadian citizens, permanent residents, or work permit holders)
- Highly motivated, organized and valuable time-management
- Excellent communication skills (with research participants and multidisciplinary team)

BENEFITS:

- Annual Vacation Days: 8.77%. Vacation is accrued over a 12-month reference year, from May 1st to

April 30th. Accrued vacations leave must be taken within 12 months of the end of the reference year.
- Sick Days: 4.21% of your gross salary, which will be added to each pay.
- Statutory Holidays: 5.7% of your gross salary, which will be added to each pay.
