Part time Massage Practitioner – Independent Contractor

Blissful Angel’s Massage is looking for a skilled, professional and dependable Massage Practitioner to join our wellness team on a part-time independent contractor basis.

This opportunity is suitable for a practitioner looking for an additional avenue to earn income, gain hands-on experience and potentially grow their clientele while working from an established wellness facility.

We are particularly looking for someone who is confident and experienced in Deep Tissue Massage and Relaxation Massage and who is also willing to learn additional wellness services, including Head Spa and Facial treatments.

Important – Compensation Structure

This is an independent contractor opportunity and NOT an hourly-paid position.

Compensation is currently $25 per completed 60-minute massage/service. Compensation for services of different durations may vary according to the service performed.

There is no guaranteed number of clients, appointments, paid hours or minimum income.

The practitioner keeps 100% of all tips received from their clients.

The hourly figure displayed by Indeed, if applicable, is only an estimated service-time equivalent and does not represent guaranteed hourly wages. Payment is based on completed client services.

Client Opportunities

Blissful Angel’s Massage receives appointments as well as walk-in inquiries.

Practitioners who make themselves available at the facility during agreed availability periods may accept available appointments and walk-in clients.

Being present at the facility can therefore provide an additional opportunity to earn income; however,



client volume varies and clientele is not guaranteed.

The facility operates Monday to Saturday from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM and Sunday from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

Specific contractor availability will be discussed and agreed upon.

Responsibilities The successful practitioner will:

- Provide professional Deep Tissue and Relaxation Massage
- Deliver a welcoming, respectful and high-quality client experience
- Review relevant client consultation information before providing a service
- Communicate professionally with clients regarding their preferences and comfort
- Maintain appropriate professional boundaries and draping
- Prepare the treatment area before appointments
- Clean and sanitize the treatment room and equipment after every service
- Change linens and maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Follow appropriate hygiene, sanitation and safety practices
- Accept available appointments and walk-ins based on agreed availability
- Maintain client privacy and confidentiality
- Be willing to learn additional services offered by the business, particularly Head Spa and Facial treatments

Qualifications

Applicants should

- Have appropriate massage/bodywork education, training or certification
- Be confident performing Deep Tissue Massage
- Be confident performing Relaxation Massage
- Have good hands-on technique and client-care skills




- Be professional, respectful and dependable
- Have excellent personal hygiene and sanitation practices
- Be punctual and communicate effectively
- Be comfortable working independently in a wellness/spa environment
- Be willing to learn new services and techniques
- Be legally entitled to work in Canada

Previous professional experience is preferred, but applicants with appropriate training and strong practical skills are encouraged to apply.
