AgCon Equipment Ltd is a leading distributor of agriculture, commercial turf and heavy-duty construction equipment.

We are looking for a full-time professional Parts Representative to run our Parts Department.

From $23 per hour (negotiable DOQ)

Full-time, Permanent

Location: in person, reliable vehicle required The Parts Person is responsible for a variety of duties, which include providing price quotations, checking inventory for product availability, providing delivery dates to customers, and verifying prices. You will receive and process orders by phone, e-mail, fax or in person.

The Parts Counter

Person prepares and maintains sales orders, customer lists and purchase orders with receipts. The right candidate will have great attention to detail and have strong parts lookup skills via parts manuals and web based electronic catalogues.

Job Duties

- Effectively handle Parts inquiries in person, by phone, or email in a timely, helpful, and effective manner
- Conduct and/or support the daily functions of our parts operation, including sourcing, ordering of parts, following- up on backorders, inventory counts, etc.
- Find appropriate part numbers for customers using provided catalogues, parts diagrams and schematics




- Provide parts for service technicians
- Check inventory for product availability
- Provide delivery dates to customers and verify prices
- Prepares and maintains parts orders and purchase orders with receipts
- Shipping and receiving
- Create purchase requisitions
- Maintain professional appearance

Job Requirements
- Knowledge of construction, agricultural and utility equipment parts including mowers
- Computer literacy. Knowledge of QuickBooks would be a solid asset
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to perform under pressure
- Ability to effectively engage customers and staff
- Ability to answer the phone in a friendly and courteous manner
- Willingness to assist other staff as is appropriate and as workloads dictate
- Ability to work well with other Department, co-workers

Work environment requires some lifting (up to 50 lbs), pushing, pulling, bending, walking, and standing. Pay: From $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
