Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our healthcare team in the afternoon and evenings . In this role, you will support pharmacists in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the efficient operation of the pharmacy. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of medical terminology and medication administration, as well as a commitment to patient safety and satisfaction.

Duties

- Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain inventory levels by ordering and restocking medications and supplies as needed.
- Process prescriptions, including verifying patient information and medication details.
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering patient inquiries and addressing concerns regarding medications.
- Ensure compliance with all pharmacy regulations, policies, and procedures.




- Support patient care initiatives.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to facilitate effective communication regarding patient treatment plans.

Experience

- Previous experience as a Pharmacy Assistance is required.
- Familiarity with medical terminology is essential for effective communication within the healthcare setting.
- Knowledge of medication administration practices is a valuable asset for this role.
- Experience in a hospital or clinical environment is advantageous, contributing to a better understanding of patient care dynamics.
