About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Pizza Cook to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate is passionate about food, works well in a fast-paced environment, and has a strong understanding of pizza preparation, dough handling, and wood-fired or deck oven cooking. Responsibilities

- Prepare and stretch pizza dough by hand.
- Assemble pizzas according to recipes and presentation standards.
- Operate pizza ovens efficiently while maintaining consistent quality.
- Prepare sauces, toppings, and other ingredients for daily service.
- Maintain proper food handling, storage, and sanitation standards.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate stock requirements.
- Keep the pizza station clean, organized, and fully stocked throughout service.
- Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure timely order execution.
- Follow all health and safety regulations.
- Assist with opening, closing, and general kitchen duties as required.

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of professional pizza-making experience in a high-volume restaurant or pizzeria.
- Strong knowledge of dough fermentation, proofing, stretching,



and baking techniques.
- Experience with wood-fired, gas, or deck ovens is considered an asset.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Food Handler Certification is an asset.
