Duties
- Support lead plumbers with installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances
- Assist with reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to understand project requirements
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to cut, assemble, and install plumbing components
- Help with carpentry tasks related to plumbing projects such as framing or support structures
- Participate in the assembly of plumbing systems following schematics and technical instructions
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times
- Learn to read basic math measurements for exact installation and troubleshooting tasks
- Support the team in welding or fabrication tasks when necessary for specialized pipework or fittings
Experience
- No prior professional experience required; however, construction experience or familiarity with trade work is a plus
- Basic mechanical knowledge or understanding of plumbinf systems is beneficial
- Experience with hand tools, power tools, and schematics enhances your ability to succeed in this role
- Prior exposure to carpentry or maintenance work helps develop relevant skills for assisting on projects
