In this energetic role, you'll be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of powersports equipment, including, ATVs, side-by-sides, and snowmobiles. Your expertise will ensure our customers' vehicles are safe, reliable, and ready to conquer any terrain.
Responsibilities
- Perform detailed diagnostics to identify mechanical issues using specialized tools and equipment
- Conduct repairs and maintenance on various powersports vehicles, including engine work, brake systems, suspension, and electrical components
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to complete service tasks
- Inspect vehicles thoroughly to ensure compliance with safety standards before customer pickup or delivery
- Keep accurate records of all repairs, parts used, and service procedures performed
- Communicate clearly with service and sales about vehicle conditions and recommended services
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency
Qualifications
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience working on powersports or similar vehicles
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools for repairs and maintenance tasks
- Ability to diagnose issues accurately and develop effective repair strategies
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Positive communication skills to interact with team members and customers effectively
- Prior experience in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Must be able to stand, bend, lift heavy parts, and work in various environmental conditions
This is an opportunity for an eager Powersports Technician to join one of the largest dealers in Atlantic Canada. This role will largely be focused on diagnosing trade units, fixing stock units to get them ready for sale, and communicating with sales and service on repair strategies.
