Do you enjoy interacting with customers and using your crafting skills? Switch Industries provides high quality industrial and commercial labelling and engraving services. We are a small, dedicated team with our office in West Edmonton. Our busy shop is seeking a part time Production Assistant who takes pride in quality and efficiency. While experience is not required, the ideal candidate will be attentive to detail, have strong time management skills, and enjoy hands on work.
Duties
-Greet customers at reception and direct incoming phone calls
-Operate production equipment to manufacture and process orders
-Packaging items in preparation for shipment to customers
-Monitor production processes to ensure both efficiency and quality
-Adhere to safety guidelines and uphold cleanliness and organization in the workspace
-Maintain a clean and organized workspace in the warehouse
Qualifications
-While specific software experience is not required,
proficiency in utilizing Microsoft Office applications is crucial
-Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately follow instructions
-Comfortable using various tools
-Demonstrates mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities
-Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
-Lift up to 20lbs
-Ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time.
-Excellent communication skills
