Monarch Driving Academy is seeking a professional driving instructor to join our expanding team.
We are a well-established, highly rated driving school in Burnaby with:

- Company-supplied hybrid training vehicle
This is not a low-volume or unstable position. We are looking for a long-term professional to help support our expansion.
Position Overview
- Part-time availability with potential to move to full time in the future
- Company-supplied vehicle (Toyota Corolla Hybrid)
- Steady student flow
- Above-market compensation

Compensation
- $35–$38 per hour (depending on experience)
- Biannual performance bonus on top of hourly pay based on:
- Student satisfaction
- Review contributions
- Safety record
- Professional conduct
- Stable schedule with consistent bookings

Ideal Candidate
We are seeking someone who:
- Holds a valid BC Driving Instructor License
- Lives inside of or within 20 minutes drive of Burnaby
- Has a clean driving abstract
- Demonstrates robust English and Chinese (Cantonese and/or Mandarin) communication skills
- Maintains clear student records
- Is calm, structured, and patient
- Maintains professional boundaries
- Takes pride in student success
- Is reliable and punctual
Some experience preferred,
but strong teaching aptitude and professionalism are more important than tenure. Training will be provided.
