Position Summary

We are seeking highly skilled Professional Services Trainers specializing in crisis prevention and de-escalation to deliver Safe Management Group Crisis Intervention Training. In this role, you will facilitate intensive weekend training sessions designed to equip professionals with practical risk management, behavior management, and aggression de-escalation strategies to promote workplace and community safety.

QuaLifications

Education and Experience

- Mandatory Certification: Active Trainer Certification with Safe Management Group (SMG).
- Proven facilitation experience in de-escalation, physical safety, or workplace crisis intervention.
- Solid presentation, physical instructional skill, and group management skills.
- Schedule Requirement: Ability and willingness to consistently deliver training workshops on weekends.
- Background in health sciences, developmental services, social work, education, or specialized support services is preferred.

Other Required Qualifications

- Deliver standardized, high-quality Crisis Intervention Training sessions during scheduled weekend workshops.
- Teach and demonstrate effective physical and verbal de-escalation techniques, environmental assessments, and behavior management strategies.
- Lead engaging practical exercises, scenarios, and skill assessments to evaluate participant competence.
- Maintain accurate participant records, certifications, and post-workshop documentation.
- Foster a supportive, professional learning environment prioritizing safety, dignity, and respect.

Physical/Work Environment Essential Requirements: The successful incumbent must have the ability to report to the work location Salary & Terms

- Support Group: Pay Band I
- Start Rate: $41.48/hour
- Hours per week: Weekend delivery (Saturday & Sunday workshop formats)
