- As an Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing commercial office interior projects from start to finish, managing all aspects from design through construction to completion.
- You will serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and with a focus on providing a positive stakeholder experience.
- You’ll lead the coordination between design and construction teams, ensuring seamless integration across all phases of the project.
- In this role, you'll work closely with our team of Interior Designers, Engineers, and Construction professionals to deliver exceptional office environments for our clients.
Tasks
- Deliver a consistently strong client experience, starting with disciplined execution on schedule and budget.
- Lead pre-construction activities, including feasibility, budgeting, estimating, tendering, and schedule development, in close coordination with the design team.
- During construction, partner with the Site Supervisor to ensure tight project administration, proactive issue resolution, and clear client communication.
- Manage change effectively by evaluating scope, schedule, budget, and quality impacts, securing approvals, and documenting decisions.
- Serve as the central point of coordination between clients, internal teams, consultants, and trades, ensuring timely decisions and clear documentation.
- Build and strengthen client relationships that support repeat work and new opportunities.
- Own portfolio-level profitability and resourcing by aligning staffing plans, workload, and fee structures to project demands, ensuring the right people are on the right projects
- Mentor and develop junior team members, providing guidance, feedback, and leadership support.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in commercial interiors project management, with experience in construction management.
- A degree in engineering, design, construction management, or a related field.
- Proven ability to manage client relationships, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong leadership skills, capable of building trust with clients and team members alike.
- Experience managing design teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Familiarity with the major phases of commercial construction and sequencing of site activities.
- Proficiency in managing project budgets, invoices, and financial records.
- Strong organizational abilities, with experience handling multiple projects simultaneously.
