We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with the capability to take on a variety of IT project assignments.
There are numerous projects planned and underway across business units for 2026/2027. These projects are application-focused and may include:
- Upgrades to existing COTS or custom applications
- Mobile application development
- Installation of current software
Responsibilities
- Manage medium to large IT projects
- Oversee the end-to-end daily management and delivery of one or more projects
- Monitor, report on, and control assigned projects
- Engage IT, vendor, and business stakeholders
- Ensure successful delivery of assigned projects
- Manage project financials and develop regular forecasts within a defined budget
- Develop clear and concise project documentation
- Forecast resource effort effectively
- Manage and control project scope through effective change control and scope management processes
- Provide input into procedure and methodology improvements
- Pick up projects mid-stream and drive them through to successful completion
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 7 years of Project Management experience
- Proven experience directly managing IT projects ranging from $250,000 to $5,000,000
- Experience managing at least 2–3 projects above the $2 million range
- Proven ability to manage project financials and develop regular forecasts within a defined budget
- Strong project documentation and reporting skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of management
- Experience working within standard procedures and methodologies
- High-level functional and/or technical understanding of project scope
- Ability to forecast resource effort effectively
- Proven success managing and controlling project scope through change control and scope management
- Experience taking over projects mid-stream and delivering them through to completion
- Experience with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies
- PMP Certification is an asset
