We are seeking a agile and detail-oriented Project P6 Scheduler to join our construction management team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and updating project schedules to ensure timely completion of construction projects. Your expertise will help coordinate multiple teams, manage deadlines, and optimize project workflows.
This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to large-scale infrastructure projects by leveraging your skills in construction scheduling software and project management principles. Your proactive approach and strong organizational skills will drive project success from inception through completion.
Duties
- Develop and maintain project schedules using scheduling software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).
- Collaborate with project teams to gather progress updates and integrate them into the master schedule.
- Identify schedule logic, critical path activities, and potential bottlenecks.
- Prepare weekly and monthly status reports for stakeholders.
- Perform advanced Critical Path Method (CPM) analysis and time-impact analysis for project delays or changes.
- Independently lead scheduling meetings with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
- Perform resource loading, leveling, and cost-forecasting within the schedule.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior scheduling staff.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in project coordination, scheduling, or a related field (internships count!).
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related technical discipline.
- Technical Skills: Basic familiarity with MS Project, Primavera P6, or Excel.
- Core Traits: Strong attention to detail, eagerness to learn, and excellent communication skills.
