Regenerative MD

Calgary

Regenerative MD is an innovative, boutique regenerative sports medicine clinic focused on exceptional clinical outcomes and concierge-level patient experience. We are seeking a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse to support procedural assistance and/or phlebotomy/blood processing for PRP treatments.

This role requires a nurse who is clinically confident, detail-oriented, and able to remain calm, composed, and solution-focused when challenges arise in a high-expectation clinical environment.

About Regenerative MD

We exist to Heal, Rejuvenate, and Preserve the joints, tendons, and bodies of our patients through advanced regenerative medicine. Our clinic specializes in ultrasound-guided PRP treatments for osteoarthritis and tendinopathy. We prioritize quality over volume and deliver care with a concierge-level standard.

Role Overview

This is a hands-on clinical role requiring the ability to assist physicians during PRP procedures in a calm and controlled manner. And to potentially independently perform phlebotomy and blood processing for treatments. Candidates must be licensed nurses and comfortable working across both functions.

Procedural Assistance (Primary):

- Assist physicians during PRP injection procedures
- Maintain sterile technique and anticipate procedural needs
- Support efficient clinic flow while upholding patient experience standards
- Communicate clearly with the clinical team before, during, and after procedures
- Remain calm, focused, and adaptable if procedural challenges or changes occur

Phlebotomy (Secondary):

- Perform venipuncture confidently and consistently
- Maintain a calm, reassuring presence for patients, even when blood draws are challenging or unexpected issues arise
- Ensure patient comfort, safety, and clear communication throughout the phlebotomy process
- Prepare and process blood samples using centrifuge systems according to protocol
- Maintain a sterile, organized, and compliant lab environment
- Proactively manage clinical and lab supplies

Schedule & Commitment:

- Every Friday required (8–10 hour shift)

- Occasional weekday coverage shifts as needed (most often Tuesdays)
- Expected commitment: 8–12 hours per week, with the possibility of additional hours based on clinic needs

Reliability and punctuality are essential. This role requires consistent attendance and the ability to be dependable when coverage is needed.

Growth Opportunity

We are a startup clinic building something special, and we want to grow with our people. For the right candidate, there is room to expand hours and responsibilities over time, especially for nurses interested in additional facets of the business (e.g., clinical systems, patient experience, operations support).

Qualifications:

- Active RN or LPN/RPN license (Alberta)
- Experience performing phlebotomy in a clinical setting
- Demonstrated ability to stay calm, organized, and professional in high-pressure situations
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols precisely
- Skilled, patient-centred communication style
- Ability to work independently in a specialty clinic environment

Work Environment:

- Fast-paced and innovative regenerative medicine clinic.
- Opportunities for career growth and development.

Strongly Preferred

- 2+ years of nursing experience
- Experience with PRP treatments and PRP blood processing (considered a strong asset)
- Foundational sports medicine or musculoskeletal knowledge to support procedural assistance (asset, not required)

Who This Role Is For

- Nurses who stay composed and solutions-focused when things don’t go exactly as planned
- Clinicians who value precision, professionalism, and patient trust
- Individuals who take ownership of their clinical environment

Who This Role Is Not For

- Candidates without nursing licensure
- Individuals who become easily flustered in procedural or patient-facing situations
- Nurses seeking high-volume, task-only roles

Compensation:
- $30.00 - $45.00 per hour, based on experience and credentials
- Performance-based bonus opportunities

Job Type: Casual

Work Location: In person

Licence/Certification

- LPN/RPN (preferred)

Pay: $28.00-$45.00 per hour
