We are seeking a passionate and experienced Red Seal Drywall Instructor to lead and inspire aspiring drywall professionals. In this role, you will deliver comprehensive training programs that equip students with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in drywall installation, finishing, and related trades. Your expertise will help shape the next generation of skilled tradespeople, ensuring they meet industry standards and safety regulations.

Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging classroom instruction on drywall techniques, safety procedures, and industry best practices
- Develop lesson plans, training modules, and practical exercises aligned with certification standards
- Assess student progress through evaluations, demonstrations, and practical assessments
- Foster a positive learning environment that encourages active participation and skill development
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and certifications achieved by students
- Stay current with industry trends, code updates,
and certification requirements to ensure training relevance
- Support students in preparing for Red Seal certification exams by providing guidance and resources
Experience
- Proven experience in drywall installation or finishing, with a strong understanding of industry standards
- Previous classroom experience or teaching background is highly desirable
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices within the trades industry
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and engage learners of diverse backgrounds
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and skill levels
- Certification as a Red Seal Drywall Installer or Finisher is required; additional teaching certifications are a plus
