Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Technician/Plumber-Gasfitter to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of mechanical systems, including HVAC units, refrigeration equipment, plumbing, and gasfitting installations. As a vital member of our maintenance and construction team, you will ensure the optimal operation, safety, and efficiency of complex mechanical systems across diverse facilities.

Your expertise will help maintain a comfortable environment for occupants while supporting building operations with precision and professionalism.

Duties

- Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain refrigeration systems, air conditioning units, plumbing fixtures, and gasfitting components in commercial and industrial settings
- Read and interpret schematics, technical drawings, and mechanical diagrams to accurately execute installations and repairs
- Conduct routine inspections of HVAC equipment, boilers, appliances, and plumbing systems to identify issues before they escalate
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and system conditions for compliance and future reference
- Assist in construction projects by installing new mechanical systems according to specifications and safety standards




- Respond promptly to emergency service requests to minimize downtime and ensure safety protocols are followed

Skills

- Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, including pipe fitting, drainage, and fixture installation
- Proficiency in welding techniques for metal piping repairs or modifications
- Experience working with boilers, HVAC units, refrigeration equipment, and appliances
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to read schematics and technical manuals accurately
- Familiarity with construction practices related to mechanical system installation
- Ability to perform maintenance tasks efficiently while adhering to safety standards
- Previous mechanic experience in industrial or commercial environments is highly desirable
