We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. Seeking RDH for Tuesdays 1:30 pm to 8 pm and Thursdays 9 am - 7 pm
Duties
- Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing, and fluoride treatments to promote optimal oral health.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of maintaining healthy habits.
- Take and scan (Scan-X) digital dental radiographs accurately while adhering to safety protocols.
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures with efficiency and professionalism.
- Maintain detailed and accurate patient records.
- Provide support in managing patient flow to ensure a smooth and welcoming clinic environment.
- Stay current with advancements in dental hygiene techniques enhance to patient care quality.
- Foster positive relationships with patients by delivering exceptional customer service and addressing concerns with empathy.
Requirements
- Valid licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist in Ontario
- 1-2 years experience preferred
- Proficiency in using ABELdent software a definite asset
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry and oral health.
- Experience in dental assisting or supporting clinical procedures is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service excellence and team collaboration.
- This is an established family-run boutique style dental clinic.
Pay: $40.00-$50.00 per hour Expected hours: 15.0 per week
