Flexology Pain & Injury Clinic is looking for full time and part time Registered Massage Therapists to join our team at our Calgary clinic.

Flexology Pain & Injury Clinic operates a state of the art facility that utilizes an integrated health care model. We help you to grow your practice and to ensure the highest degree of patient care, allowing you to better manage your caseload and to effectively treat each patient. Flexology has also launched Calgary's first self-care rehabilitation membership facility to improve the efficacy of the intervention process and to help professionals deliver the most optimal treatment programs.

Collaborating with multiple skilled modalities all under one roof also ensures a comprehensive referral network to help grow and expand your practice and enhances overall patient care.

We are seeking a confident and reliable self-starter who will be comfortable operating as a Massage Therapist in a dynamic clinic environment.

The Massage Therapist will be responsible for overseeing client care, including intake, treatment and home care. The role will also support the clinic with providing educational workshops to our clients to increase client base and to create awareness of services our clinic has to offer.





Duties and Responsibilities;

- Talk with clients about symptoms, medical history, and desired results;
- Evaluate clients to locate painful or tense areas of the body;
- Manipulate muscles or other soft tissues of the body;
- Provide clients with guidance on stretching, strengthening, overall relaxation, and how to improve their posture; and
- Develop personalized treatment plans for clients that specify massage types, treatment areas and treatment frequency. Consult with chiropractors, physiotherapists, psychologists, physicians and other healthcare professionals for assistance with treatment plan development;
- Refer clients to other professionals and therapists when appropriate and necessary to treat additional symptoms;
- Document client’s condition and progress

The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:

- Registration with Alberta College/Association in good standing;
- Preferred one (2) year of experience in a clinical multidisciplinary setting;
- Ability to refer and work with other practicing professionals in the facility including Osteopaths, Chiropractors, Physiotherapists, Kinesiologists and more;
- Experience and education in advanced fascial mobilization preferred;
- Functional assessment, sports,



and orthopedic backgrounds considered an asset;
- Available to participate in ongoing facility and community events, work with different organizations and ability to educate and supervise students enrolling in mentorship programs at the clinic;
- Passion to pursue career advancement and professional continuing education;
- Ability to conduct consultations and assessments with other professionals from different disciplines and to work with other professionals to create comprehensive treatment programs.

Compensation:

- Split revenue contract;
- Monthly bonuses provided based on productivity above quota;
